Covergirl Simply Ageless 3in1 foundation first impression/review (Blogmas Day 8)

Welcome back to Blogmas! Today is day 8, and I thought I would do a quick review/first impressions of the Covergirl Simply Ageless 3 in 1 foundation. I received this foundation for free, courtesy of Bzz Agent. There were a couple other kinds of Covergirl foundations to choose from, but this one looked like the lightest shade would match my skin better than the others. It does match pretty well, it's slightly darker than I prefer, but it doesn't show. I wore this foundation twice so far, and I'm having pretty mixed feelings about it. It's a fairly lightweight but build-able foundation, and it has a pleasant fragrance to it, which is probably attributed to the Olay moisturizer that's in it. It claims to instantly reduce the appearance of wrinkles, which for me, I feel like it mostly just settled into the lines on my forehead, which was especially noticeable when I wore it the first time and my face wasn't properly moisturized.. I don't have any wrinkles, so I can't attest to that. It didn't make my skin feel any more toned or moisturized, in fact, it felt a little drying on my skin. I wouldn't really recommend this for people with dry skin. It blends out fairly well, however in the end my skin looked really powdery. I used a setting spray to help settle everything down and while it did help, I still looked a little powdery. Today, I wore this foundation for about 6 hours, and it didn't seem to fade out, but it did end up oxidizing on my skin, making me look slightly orange.. I didn't love this foundation, but I also didn't hate it. It would be something that I probably wouldn't purchase, but I will use up this bottle, instead of throwing it out. I prefer my Maybelline Dream Wonder Fluid Touch Foundation much more, I feel like my skin looks better using more of a liquid type foundation as opposed to a thicker cream foundation.

This is before, no products or foundation.

After, it covered my freckles and redness

After 6 hours of wear, it looks slightly orange, it's definitely more noticeable in person.

That's all for Blogmas day 8!
Have you tried this foundation??
If so what were your thoughts on it?
I'm curious to know if anyone had opposite results, because products work differently on everyone.
xoxoxo
