- Klean Color in Pearl Silver
- Klean Color in Chunky Silver
- Seche Vite top coat
- Sally Hansen diamond strength base coat
- China Glaze in China Rouge
- Simply peel liquid latex
- OPI in Alpine Snow
- Nail tape (for chevron pattern)
- Makeup Sponge (for gradient)
She first did a base coat and let it dry, followed by a coat of the Pearl Silver polish. After that dried, she added 2 layers of the Chunky Silver polish, allowing each coat to dry in between.
She then added some of the liquid latex around the nails that were going to have the chevron and gradient. Next she took strips of the nail tape and began making the chevron pattern (basically you line up the tape to make small Vs down your nail. Next, take your makeup sponge and add a line of white polish and just above it (don't make a space or a gap, put them right next to one another) add the red polish, then stipple the color on top of the nail with the tape on it. (You might have to add more polish to the sponge depending on how dark you want it) When you have the desired intensity, carefully remove the ape from your nails and then remove the latex from around your nail and there you have it! Repeat those steps on the other accent nails and finish off with a top coat.
