Chili Cheese Crescent Hot Dogs! (Blogmas day 18)

Welcome to Blogmas day 18! I wanted to share a quick meal idea today. I love all kinds of food, especially the not so good for you comfort kinds. This recipe is really simple and easy to do and it only takes about half an hour to make! This is the no frills, simplified, regular chili cheese hot dogs version, you can add anything you want to make it as elaborate and fancy as you would like!

You'll need:

  • Hot dogs (we used a packet of 8)
  • Crescent rolls (we used one tin that made 8 rolls)
  • Chili (we used 2 cans of mild chili with beans)
  • Cheese (we used the pre shredded kind)

You'll want to heat up the chili on the stove before putting it into your casserole dish. While that is heating up, preheat your oven to 400 degrees fahrenheit, then open your hot dogs and lay out your crescent dough. Place a hot dog and cheese on each individual crescent and roll them up.

Then take your chili and layer it in your casserole dish. After that's done, place each of your crescent dogs in the dish on top of the chili.
Cook for about 20 minutes until dough is golden brown and cooked through. If you want, sprinkle some extra cheese on top and let it melt on top before serving.

That's all for day 18!
What's your favorite easy comfort food dish to make??
